Vieux Lyon

UNESCO has listed the old part of Lyons, Vieux Lyon, including the Croix-Rousse and Presqu'île areas as a world heritage site ; this Gothic and Renaissance district, known for its maze of narrow streets and elegant buildings certainly deserves the title. The office du tourisme de Lyon organises guided tours in English and French, which help you discover the absolut beauty of cathedrale Saint Jean and the maze of streets and passageways, such as the famous traboules.

Last year I had a short trip to U.K and France.After spending a few days in London I took a ferry to france but as I have very little time left, could only manage to visit a few places including Paris.After reading this blog i found that i missed quite a lot of the ancient places of France like Vieux Lyon etc.
