L'église de la Madeleine
L'église de la Madeleine is a church in Paris, dedicated to Mary Magdalene. The first design was commissioned in 1757 and was halted in 1764, then in 1777 Contant d'Ivry died and was replaced by his pupil Guillaume-Martin Couture, who decided to start anew, razing the incomplete construction, with a more centralized design on the Roman Pantheon.

The river Seine is probably one of the most well known rivers in France and has been made even more popular as a tourist attraction within the city of Paris.
